2026 MKYRA RULEBOOK
MKYRA has adopted the National High School Rodeo Association RuleBook as it’s first source of clarification if in any case the current MKYRA RuleBook does not clearly cover an event rule.
Any Person Directly Involved With Or Associated With MKYRA In Any Manner Who Is Found In Violation With Any Rule Printed Within The RuleBook May be Fined By the MKYRA Board Of Directors.

Blessed with the best.

Frequently Asked Questions
MKYRA has adopted National High School Rodeo as a secondary and/or backup to finding clarity on rules. So, if it is not in our rulebook, we will fall back and use NHSR.
Judges and MKYRA enforce strict regulations on equipment, animal welfare, and sportsmanship. Violations can lead to fines or disqualification.
The best course of action is to bring it to the attention of the judges that are present at the rodeo. We do not have replay abilities however, there are opportunities for discussion. Decisions made by the judges will always be final.
At the end of the Rodeo season, there will be time for rule change submissions that are then put to the board and members for voting. You can ask for a rule change submission paper at the rodeo before Finals.
